Services Overview

Energy Performance Certificates were introduced by the government to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings. Energy Performance Certificates are required to be provided by law, by accredited Domestic Energy Assessors when either building, selling or renting a property, or building.

An accredited Domestic Energy Assessor will undertake an assessment of the property and collect relevant data required to produce Energy Performance Certificates. Energy Performace Certificates provide ‘A’ to ‘G’ ratings for the building, with ‘A’ being the most energy efficient. A Domestic Energy Assessor shall also provide reports with energy efficiency recommendations for improvement.
